Empowering you to live your best life.

Providing Personal Care and Companionship. Promoting Independence, Health, and Wellbeing.

About us

At Kings Care at Home, we are passionate about delivering personalized care that empowers our clients to live their best lives at home.

The inspiration behind our Harrogate-based business is Lisa’s personal experience caring for an elderly couple and her own parents. This has driven our commitment to providing compassionate, adaptable care that supports our clients and their families through changing health and social needs.

Our Services

Whether it is once or twice a week, or once or twice a day, we will put together a bespoke package offering the care and companionship that you or your loved one needs. Assistance in all aspects of daily living: getting up and dressed or going to bed; meals; shopping; light household duties and managing medication. This ensures that your loved one remains as independent as they wish to be, but with someone on hand to assist when necessary. Long term or respite.

Homecare & Companionship

We understand that there comes a time when your loved one simply cannot be left – and you may not be able to be with them twenty-four hours a day, or overnight. That’s where our team can come in and ensure that your loved one is never left alone. A cost effective alternative to a care home, this means that your loved one can stay in the familiarity of their own home, with you able to visit as much as you can, having the peace of mind of knowing that we are always there.

Overnight & 24 hour care

After a stay in hospital, your loved one might need that extra bit of care and assistance. We offer a bespoke package of either full time or regular assistance, helping with the basics of every day life; form getting up and dressed, to meals, shopping or getting to bed at night. And of course getting to and from those follow up appointments. We also help with managing medications and liaising with both yourself and primary healthcare providers should we have any concerns.

  • What our clients say

“I am a GP who works for the out of hours GP service based in Harrogate. I offered to write this compliment after receiving a call from Lisa regarding one of her clients. The reason for her call was clearly expressed, appropriate clinical details and observations collected and clearly stated, and it was obvious from her tone that she had the patient's best interests at heart.

I was impressed by Lisa's professionalism and caring approach and I wish her luck with her venture”.

  • What our clients say

“Lisa Richardson and her wonderful team of carers looked after my mother Felicity in the last eighteen months of her life. The quality of care never varied from excellent whoever was attending Felicity and in the final two to three months of her life as her needs increased Lisa and her team were exemplary. The care provided made such a difference to the quality of life my mother had; friendship & companionship as well as nursing skills. This was a great comfort to her close family who had absolute confidence in the abilities of Lisa and her team. I cannot recommend Kings Care at Home highly enough!”
